As a 25-year pet and home care professional, I can tell you in all honesty that I have seen each episode of this most beloved of BBC period dramas set in the Yorkshire Dales (high windswept and frigid in Winter) at least 5 to 7 times and that the writing is so good that I would find a number of new wrinkles and perspectives on each viewing.
